I downloaded some of the topo maps from gpsfiledepot and could not view them in mapsource. What do I need to do to use the .img files in mapsource?

so the garmin city navigator has the fire roads/ dirt roads/ trials that the topo maps have? along with all the local, count, and state roads and points of interest? just not the topo lines right?
if so, it sounds to me like the city navigator is the one to get as long as you don't need the topo lines for hiking.

Some of the fire roads & dirt roads, but not all. None of the trails.
