Question New to me 2001 XR650R

I have been lurking on here from some time and im looking for some advice on my new to me bike.

Uncorked with a FMF exhaust, Baja Designs enduro kit.

I just purchased a Trail Tech Vapor Speedo/Tach.
How can i use the BD battery pack or stator to provide power to the speedo/tach?

Is there any place that gives detailed instructions for replaceing the jet on my stock carb?
I purchased the bike in CA where it was at an elevation of around 100 ft and i live in Utah at 5000 ft. I know i could get more power out of my bike with the proper jetting.

Thank you for the help

Hey Utah first congrats on getting a 650r - I am a noob as well so cannot really answer your question but did want to bump your post a little so maybe someone can answer.
Also look for the XR650R only thread and post there and you should get your answer.
