Team Ghetto 2015... The Year of The Phoenix

TEAM GHETTO 2015... Year Of The Phoenix.

Well, 2014 was certainly a strange year in the Ghetto for any number of reasons. Lots of things happening that most of us probably didn't see coming. Inmates boning Inmates, Ghetto on Ghetto "crime", pissing contests (of course, that's nothing new).

... But I think most of us would agree that the thing that hit us all the hardest, was the loss of our brother XMoto.

One of the good ones left us, and more importantly his family, way too soon. I'm sure that most of us felt like we'd been kicked in the guts when we heard the news, I know that I did.

R.I.P. Sal.

Of course, not all of it was bad news.

We have peace in the NorthEast for the first time that I can remember since joining ADVrider. The Armistice between the NY and NJ guys seems to be holding. After an unexpected series of events, we found that we all have something in common. It turns out that we all seem to enjoy riding our motorcycles. Who knew? I even heard a rumor that DocGonzo and Boatman are planning a camping trip together. ...Admittedly, I'm still working on confirmation of that one. ... Ok, maybe I made it up for my own entertainment.

Kenny Made B Class!!!! ... Seriously, who saw that coming? I'd have bet that he'd get tired of playing that fire jumping video before that'd happen! Some of his highlight videos can be seen HERE.

Good job Ken!!

--(Maybe now he'll finally find the time to update that 2 year old ride report of his.)

Team Ghetto stickers have been carried as far west as Los Angeles and Cabo San Lucas. (Perhaps even further reaches that I am unaware of).

... And a couple of Team Ghetto members took us on a pretty BadA$$ Hot Lap of the United States. Good on'ya guys!!

So with this post, we salute all ye band of misfits and malcontents that call yourselves Team Ghetto. Here's Hoping we can bury our hatchets, start anew, and bring TG "Back From The Ashes"!

Happy new year to you all!!

Happy New Year gang!

Fran,,, nice intro. It was a tough year losing Sal. Even though I had only known him a few years, it seems like we were friends since kids.

As for Doc and I camping.... sure.... I promise I'll leave my hatchet at home.

Speaking of hatchets,,,, let's bury some more.

SOOOOO,,, let's get this year rolling off to a good start. Who's riding today????
