Does the owner ride it while people are there? I'd love to see and hear that.
Yeah, he rode it there as well. Probably over 100 miles each way. He's quite the Nimbus guru and has several examples including another blue one plus an earlier "Stovepipe" model. He's had this one (a '47) a long time and I've seen the bike at vintage events since I was a kid.

You don't see to many others in these parts!

Not mine, but this one was at the Rhinebeck Grand National Supermeet this past June in Rhinebeck, NY. Very beautiful bike!

Sorry it's small. See it bigger at my Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/47792194@N00/

Very nice.. You don't see them very often here either, they're a rarity these days.. So I can imagine how rare they must be overseas. It doesn't surprise me that most of you guys haven't heard of a small Danish motorcycle manufacturer from many years back

Sounds like he's got some nice bikes though. It would be cool to know how he got his interest in the Nimbus brand.. Bet he's a nice guy.

I watched the enlarged pictures on your flicker, and you're right, that bike does look good as well. I can't remember seeing a yellow one before, so that's cool. Thanks for posting!

A friend up in the DC area has one.

This is my wife, of Danish descent, riding a bike from the homeland;

Very nice bike, and cool wife. Did your wife grow up in Denmark, or was her parents from here? I bet she's a feisty one.. Most Danish women are. Don't piss them off, you WILL regret it!

I saw one for sale at VMD this past weekend. It had a sidecar was blue. Didn't get a pic my battery ran out.

The valve adjustment looks pretty easy.

Epic Nimbus Ride

The following link is to the website of a couple of guys from Norway doing an epic RTW tour on 1937 Nombus sidecar rigs. I believe they are currently in Siberia.
