Question on insurance. To my knowledge, local insurance covers accidents occurring in Singapore, Malaysia, and within 50km from Malaysian borders.

Travel insurance doesn't cover vehicular damage. Could you purchase a short term automobile insurance for when you wish to venture further?

I am now living in Singapore and looking to rent a bike for a month to get a feel for if I want to buy one.

There appears to only be BHH to rent from? Any advice on them or are there other companies?

as pervious camping trip was success, we planned to go for it again..
this time, we chose our friend Bobby's hometown Tanjung Sedili

meet up 9am at JB shell petrol station.

and we have 3 big bikes this time..

Jerome's GS

Patrick's 990

AJ's DR Big

then proceed for breakfast... wait for late comers, chit chat have fun until 11:00 (as usual)

AJ's light meal

we tried the new highway E22 which lead straight to desaru

all 13 bikes

soon we reach to sedili and found a deserted beach...
like kids in toy store..

It was easy for AJ

but Jerome was abit stuck in soft sand

it was all fun until we went alittle deeper

and Damien's DR got stuck in sand

luckily, we manage to push it back to shore and able to start it back.

after beach fun, i had to leave early due to family appointment but the rest stayed on

after waiting for rain to stop

they went to find new trails.. and yes they found..

until they come to this

i dont know why GS go first...

as expected..

Good write up, bro. Too bad you missed it. I'll definitely do it again, if only I can get my hands on some good knobby tyres. Had two spills going downhill in very slippery mud. Bike came out of everything without so much as a scratch.
This was my first real offroad adventure on this beast of a motorcycle.
And damn, has my belief in her been renewed.
