I love to get that, if I had the bike paid off, but.... at that price it looks like a scam, it just seems to low to be real.

These guys for one - no affiliation but I have talked to them and they seem like pretty straight up guys:

http://www.dividingcreekroverimports..._defender_110s

I saw some of their trucks at a Land Rover event in Virginia last year - I was in lust over a 110 they had for sale and I thought it was pretty reasonably priced.

Try to get a LHD Rover out of mainland/southern Europe - the English trucks are prone to be very rusty and RHD is a pain to live with on a daily basis. Something out of central Spain would probably be ideal but I saw some very nice Rovers in Belgium and the Netherlands.

... cool site, thanks

... interesting North American import fact:
Quote:
Imported only in 1993 they are some of the most sought after vehicles not only because of the great number of enthusiasts that would like to own one but also because speculators and collectors limit the number of vehicles that come up for sale on ebay to may be 1 or 2 per month.

The total number of Land Rover imported Defender 110's into North America is thought to be around 536 vehicles, all of which were originally white.
[voice=Johnny Carson] "I did not know that" [/Johnny Carson voice]

... From the same site, this is the Landy I lust for, perfect ...

It's only a couple of small dents ... it needs to have the scars of having a wing ripped off or a roof caved in to make it abused

Just about cant give them away here in aust - had a 110 for 10 years and sold it just recently - decked out just like the camel trophy trucks of years ago. Now im looking for a toyota troopy for my outback travels - ergos in the LDR are terrible and the aircon is shite.
