Speaking of windows, I liked the old series 2 with the sliding front doors. The defender roll up windows are down low on the door and it takes at least 5 turns to open and close.

Early defenders and military ones also had the sliding windows. Can easily fitted without mods to a 2010 Defender.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Morocco - 4500 miles, half camping wild and half in hotels. Had a fantastic time and saw some great sights Haven't uploaded all the pics yet - but here's one I particularly liked:
