I laughed so loud when he pulled out the drill, I woke my poor daughter!

Genius! Want a longer screwdriver, don't waste your money on fancy tools. Just duck tape a stubby to any length of wood you require.
I've had to wrap assembly tape around my waist to stop my sides splitting

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there.

150 days in South America

In August 2012, I and Helen started our road trip across South America that lasted 150 days. We were 2-up on a F800GS. Rode 28,000 kilometers in Colombia, Equador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina.

So far it has been probably the best experience of our life.

We are documenting the trip in our personal blogs, unfortunately - for the time being - we do so in our native language (greek) so I'm afraid it won't be fun for you fellow ADVers to follow the blogs. I've tried to see how online translating tools do, well ehmm ... the result is that there are phrases that often don't make any sense .

I want to find the time and do the translating myself and post the whole trip here in ADVrider because I feel I owe it to this community, since it has been THE inspiration for us, and probably if there had not been ADVrider we might have never done it.

Until then, here is a short video clip that we made. I hope you like it.

A few of us got together to ride some trails on a guys land in Kansas. I had a good time and was surprised how good the little kids did. Listen to the little 2 strokes!
