Sidecar chassis for Vintage racing - $5000

Saw this on the Orlando CL, thought it might be of interest to someone.
As Sgt Shultz would say, "I know nothing" of the hack or the seller.

Dana!

Thanks for the link.

And yes, I'm gonna hack the GS. My 16yo is going to be my navigator on this summer's Alcan5000.

Watch for the build coming to a hack forum near you in 2010.

Need one suitable for a Vespa P200E, smallish and light weight, and as close to Austin, TX as possible.

Rig for sale: '07 HD XL1200N Sportster Nightster + new Velorex 563T sidecar

Bike: HD's ultra cool, retro version of the 1200 Sportster in silver and black, 26.3-inch seat height, rubber fork gaiters, bobbed fender, fuel-injected; bike is immaculate, garage-kept on a battery tender. I've added their EZ clutch, plus a Memphis Shades quick-release windscreen (on and off in seconds); I have been the only owner, ridden 3K miles.

Sidecar: 2009 Velorex 563T sidecar- this version takes the popular Velorex 562 sidecar body, mounts it on a 565 tour reinforced chassis with wider fender, chrome spoked wheel, chrome front brush guard & luggage rack. Less than 1K miles on the sidecar. Comes with tonneau cover (pictured), carpeted mat, windshield (I have it off in these photos).

The Velorex pairs very well with the XL1200N and the retro look of the bike lends itself to the traditional style of the sidecar and makes a great turnkey rig. I love this set-up, I hate to let this go, but have another rig setup in the making and garage space and wallet size preclude me from having both. For interested parties on this site: PRICE LOWERED- $9,500 to make room for my new set-up- a good deal! If interested, please send me a PM.

I can't remember how many times I rode around Subic, drunk, in one of these:

Of course that was back in the early 70s.
