09 KLR sidecar rig for sale Alameda California

One of a kind 2009 KLR 650 Red with Dauntless Sidecar M72C and Leading link front end (power steering), excellent handling, very stable, can easily cruise 65-70 mph freeway speeds. This is a realy smooth single cylinder, counter balanced, high torque thumper, if you treat it right, it will take you anywhere you want to go, on road only. Bike currently has 11,000 miles, just finished a 4,000 mile Baja Mexico trip Feb 2010 and round trip to Death Valley 1000 miles 4/17/2010. All maintenance up to date, factory tall windshield, Happy-Trails panniers shown but not included, Foam air filter installed, Top Gun rear shock spring, Progressive sidecar shock and heavier 150-250 pound spring, DC power outlet for GPS and heated gear, new DID o-ring chain and sprockets 15x 45 tooth @11k miles changed gearing from 2.86 to 3.0:1 lightly lower, new 17" front wheel Metzler ME880, rear stock 1k miles, new cush-drive, sidecar wheel is Harley chrome 16"; otherwise stock bike, some minor scratches from use, nice condition.

Total build cost was a little over $14,000 not including shipping and assembly. Factory unlimited milage extended warranty 12/23/2013 costs $627.00

I build a bike, ride and enjoy it for a while and move on to the next project. Love this bike, very simple and cheap to own and maintain, but I looking forward to our next project, Pssst, don't tell my wife, lol.

Thanks.

This is a an awesome rig and handles well. Gets 40 mph with sidecar.

He's English - that would be:

'40 Millicents Per Hotel'

or didn't you know just HOW much They dig cargo sidehacks?

Seriously, this would be a very nice intermediate rig for someone - a cargo sidecar with a lockable alloy box for a 'trunk' is almost unbelievably useful. I've got a Ural passenger body for my frame also, it hasn't been on the rig in almost two years.

Cheers

Here is a Trials sidehack made to bolt onto a 1998 Montesa Cota with no modifications. It's made from stainless steel tubing, virtually unused, and is probably the nicest hack you will be able to find. Comes with extra shock, removable seat, and saddlebag, as well as brackets to mount to a Cota.( will probably need modification to fit to different applications.) DOES NOT come with the bike, ad is for side car only. call 203 288 8487

Aussie-Style 1987 BMW Touring Rig

Due to medical reasons, I am selling my "Mad Max style" BMW touring rig. Doctors won't let me ride long distances any more. Hell! The doctors don't have to tell me. I'm barely good for 4 hours in a car these days!

Anyhow, 1987 K100. Rig built by our own Claude Stanley. Hybrid cargo/passenger sidecar. Torsion bar suspension. Anti-sway bar. EML leading link front end. Car tires all around. More bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at.

Check it out on eBay.
