Why is it that the Porsche people crash more than any other make of automobile on the track??? One year not too long ago the Porsche people crashed 18 cars over a 2 day event...and another year a driver got killed in a 1 car mishap in the "toe of the boot". Every year there are stories from the track workers as well.

In the school I attend only a couple a cars get the "blue stripe" or an off road experience and there is some serious iron running the course. Actual crashes are rare.

Is it something in the air or water???

Never take your foot off the throttle, man... never take your foot off.

This wasn't on the back straight but it was at 125. Rear tire blew.
Shit happens faster fast.

Speaking of rear tire blow outs. I got my car back today.
Tire arrived much sooner and was only $570.

Snow storm today and I tried to limp it home. I will have to
say I've never had car that was so shitty in weather.

I had to shut off the traction control to have any throttle control
at all. Ended up having to go the long way to avoid any hills.

Made it and it is back in it's happy zone.

Porsches have a weird way of being a Jekyll / Hyde in the snow. Without snow tires they are pathetic, scary, unnerving and dangerous. With good quality, narrow snow tires, they are fantastic. Daily drove mine for years in the snow and it was great with snows, a sled without.

Now you tell me.

Didn't plan on it being a winter driver. Good thing.
