She wants a new one, so I'm guessing the coolant pipe problem has been worked out on those.
Its seems like most of the problems have been worked out on the newer models. I still would sell or trade it in before I ran out of warranty though. These cars a very complicated and repairs can get very expensive. That being said they are very nice to drive. I hope she enjoys it, post pics when you get it.

As an aside, I've been looking at used Nobles in the UK.

Got these guys down to GBP 24,500 for a 2003 GTO 3R, 22,000 miles, never tracked.

Back to basics:

Got to be a future collectors car given their limited production run, reputation, and current depressed pricing. 3 litre twin turbo V6, mid rear engined layout, stunning handling.

Those are supposed to be great track cars, they don't sound to comfortable for regular driving though. The guys that have them seem to love them. The guy that owns NobleForums.com is a member of another forum I am on.

Reminds me of last night, was at the gas station and a red 944 pulled in, squeeling and squeeling. Driver got out, college kid by the looks of him, prepays and puts some fuel in.

Starts it up again squeeeeel.

Not that they're bad cars, but seriously college aged kids should be able to deal with V belts.

Fellas,

How is it? Anyone help me identify this cheeky toady fucker? German plate reads 965 but this was debadged at Denia docks, Spain. Never owned a car, and they rarely appeal, but despite the Friday night eye-shadow paint job, something about the stance seduced 'si'.

Ta, Dan

Looks like a 84-89 Carrera Cabriolet with the M491 turbo look option with rear spoiler delete or a other replica turbo body kit. In Europe this is called a Carrera Cabriolet Super Sport.
