show the barn finds.

this was at work the other day. I didn't see it until he was pulling out.

Hudson. original and not on the road since 58' if you can see the tab. i didn't know they even tab'd em back then.

was damn near pristene. other than the surface patina..
some tires and a tune up and i bet it runs. even the interior (I hear from my boss) was like new just dusty.

and it needs a new ragtop.

damn. how come I never find something like this.

maybe it's the kid in me hoping to find the minibike for $5 leaned against a tree somewhere, but I do love barn finds and other nifty discoveries.

Yep. I'd hit the brakes so hard my eyeballs would bulge. I'd be turned around and figuring out a begathon strategy for the money. "Yes, we've got room for it."

I think that's part of the joy.

Greg, the boss, followed us outside and kept trying to tell me about how he went to Las Vegas one time on a motocycle. I was like, "oh-kay, that's great Greg." Just back from Prudhoe Bay, IMO it was really worth the trip, AK is a beautiful place & you need lots of time to take it all in. I'm looking forward to returning & exploring some places i didn't have time to ride.RIP Ron Melton
