Working at the boat store, we get lots of calls.
Their father died with some acreage and a Lightning
.
I did not have a buyer, but assured them it was not garbage or a give away.
Closer to a museum piece.
I wish I had shot the spars hanging in the barn.

Just back from Prudhoe Bay, IMO it was really worth the trip, AK is a beautiful place & you need lots of time to take it all in. I'm looking forward to returning & exploring some places i didn't have time to ride.RIP Ron Melton

I remember sailing those at summer camp. They were a hoot!

How 'bout a dump find:

A few years ago my son and I were taking a load of crap to the dump. This pulls up next to us in the back of a trailer under a pile of trash and junk. Didn't think much about it until the guy starts rolling it off to leave it behind. Obviously, it went home with us that day.

Back of a garage find.

In 1981 I bought a 65 Mustang GT that sat in the back of a guys garage since 71. $1800.00 for the car and a pick-up load of parts. PO was a Ford Parts rep and instead of the parts going back to Ford's warehouse they went to his. There were Shelby parts new in the box. It was the most Bitching car that I have ever owned. Sadly it became an accordion when I was 19. If I can find a few pictures I'll post em up, but sadly there are only a few in a box somewhere.

We’ve said it before, but it bears repeating; the GS handles in ways a two-story building was never meant to.

Taking collections for Faye Butler Training please spare some change.

A year or so ago, an aquaintance of my sister's boyfriend (who became her husband last weekend), had a bike in a million pieces in his shop. He told Tom, you get this thing put together and running, and I'll give you this extra bike I have sitting in there too.

He did, and got this 1970 CB350. 4000 miles. It's pretty fun to ride too, I almost told my sister I was riding that thing home from Denver.

Almost.
