I had Model T Ford fever bad at 14, looked all over for one.
( At 13 I scored a full front end frame , motor, bonnet, firewall and radiator that ran a sawmill for $20 and took it home. Tore it down, restored it and got it running ).

Heard of a barn collapse on a 'T' 50 miles from home, my parents drove me out to search. I found the barn, fallen down 50% .........and empty.

I looked around and found a few small pieces on the floor that were model T parts. She was gone on a flatbed a few days before.

I ended up getting a 1930 Durant 4 door sedan for $150, it was driven 100 miles to me and the only things missing were one door handle and a hubcap.
It had a Continental Red Seal 6 cyl and actually had real brakes ( that alone made me glad I never found a model T )

Yep.

When I tell folks that this state alone covers as much coast as NYC to Florida, they sort of start to "get it".

They think Seattle's right up the street from SF.

Well, at least it's a pretty street.

I was born in WV and lived there for 13 years before moving to Arkansas.

I'm still waiting to move to a state that isn't the punchline of a redneck/hillbilly joke....

How about a 1981 CBX with 2 miles on it that's never been started?

I met a guy a few weeks ago that knows someone with 2 of the CX500 Turbo school bikes. He says they're cherries.
