One of my favorites too. The new "version" of it really doesn't have the same cashe' as that one.

I will pay shipping tonight.

If you can, get over there, get it running and drive it back. My brother in law offered me his original owner 1970 Nova with the 250 straight six and turbo 350 auto, a rare combo. He said I could have it if I got it running since it's just sitting there and he bought a new RX7. So my wife and I packed up some tools, hopped on a Greyhound Bus and got to his house 300 miles away. All it took was a points adjustment and we were off. Got 25mpg and could run all day. That three speed really makes a difference and would smoke my friend's Nova with the powerglide. Like an idiot, I sold it to the mailroom clerk at work. She needed a cheap car. Wish I still had it.

the old Rolvos are so much like old american iron to work on it aint even funny.

supper easy basic stuff, so, not british electrics, lots of room in the bay to work.

the 1800's are classic, i'd almost give a left nut fer one.
i even liked my old 142.

new rolvo's...not so much.

should just fed ex it.

My step Mom had a brand new '76 350 4 door Nova.

It was allllll boringly tan.

But with that smog motor V8 I could at least pretend...

Sort of like these:

(I am OUT!)

A few years back

My sister called me and said a coworker was trying to clean up her dads estate and there was a BMW in his garage. Asked me to come over and look at it and see if I was interested in it.

A tick over 10K miles on it. Still sitting on a battery tender, it fired right up.

I bought it on the spot and brought it home. A good bath is all it needed.

One ride reminded me why I had just dropped a chunk of cash on a new GS and I ebayed it.

Everything in those photos is a collector's item-I'd start by hauling away the Dodge (the windshield frame is very hard to find, for a start)-then I'd take the Model A aircraft tug. Even old Anvils are sought after, too.
