Local BestBuy(Fresno,CA) has Garmin Numaps onetime update on disk for clearance price of $20.99.
These will work on all units that take the NT maps.
They appear to be closing out on Garmin in general,as all the remaining Garmin units were on clearance(no good MC units)
Also continue to have Garmin Mexico NT maps on SD card for $17.99
This may be regional or national, check your store.

Very good prices if you want to update,or you are planning that south of the border ride.

Awesome GPs, if I did not already have 3 I would be in for a backup unit.

West Marine $149 76cx

Went down to my local West Marine (11/5/11) and bought a new Garmin 76cx for $149.

Few notes.

It does not have a 128meg memory card in it like the box says. It has 1 Gig.

They have a 30 day return policy.

The web site shows a 2 year warranty for I think it was $29 and a 3 year for $39.

In the store they offer a 3 year warranty for $23.

Brought it home stuck the batteries in and it works fine. Plenty of sat reception from inside my house.

Check West Marine out. It looks to be a good deal when used ones are selling for $130 - $180 on flea bay.

BTW - I do NOT work for West Marine or have any attachment to them. Just wanted to post what looks like a great deal.

The West Protection plan ADDS 2 years to the mfr warranty making it 5 years total. It covers things the normal Garmin won't like wear and tear, and they will replace it with the most comparable model if this one is discontinued (which seems pretty likely)

They also have a 30 day price guarantee.

You also get an additional rebate back if you are a member of their gold rewards.

I do work @ WM though so I am definitely biased.

I guess I should have said if the same model is 'not available'

Apparently here: http://www.ems.com/home/index.jsp

In a Black Friday sale they are selling almost everything in the store for 20% off. Even though the sale says Garmin products are not included, there are many reports that if you phone to order, they will honor the 20% off price for the Montana. They are selling fast though..

Gander Mountain has:

62CSx for $250
Dakota (like the Oregon) for $180 (!!!)
Also, the DeLorme PN-60 is $200

These are all Friday deals listed on http://bfads.net/

I just picked up a Garmin Montana 650t at EMS for $479.96 at their advertised sale price on line. I called customer service to see if the 20% Off Black Friday deal applied and was told that this was already reflected in the sale price.

The Montana 650 on their site is not on sale and is advertised for $549.95. The 20% deal may still apply to this unit, making it $439.96.

There is no such thing as a 62CSx. You must mean the 62S.

The Black Friday adventure begins at GPSCity, apparently:

The US site lists Nuvi 550s for $199, Montana 650 for $499. Lots of choice for all budgets.

Go nuts!

GPSCity USA

GPSCity Canada
