I found a local (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) pawn shop with two new 62S units at $160 each. Not a bad price. He has them marked at $250 in the display but offered me both for $320, but I don't need them. He said I could tell others and he would honor that price of $160 each.

The flyer I got in the mail says through 11/24, so one more day for anyone on the fence.

Canadians only: Garmin 62stc at amazon.ca

Garmin 62stc is on sale at Amazon.ca for $299. This is $200 off list and much cheaper than other reputable Canadian stores.

Only 11 hours or so left on this deal...

CNNA Lifetime Map Updates are one of today's Black Friday deals from Garmin.

$49 for Lifetime, $19 for Onetime.

http://www.garmin.com/en-US/holiday

To get this price in Canada you have to call customer service at 866-429-9296. I couldn't get the $49 price so customer service had me buy it at full price and is refunding me the $40.

GPSCentral has posted their Black Friday deals.

The 62S for $199 CD. 62SC for $249, 62ST for $269. Methinks the 62 series might be discontinued soon. Not that that makes it any less useful.

Garmin Zumo 350LM for $539. Not my cup of tea, the Zumo, but someone might be looking.

If anyone thinks their Smartphone can do as a gps, here are some sources of offline maps for you.

Garmin's Navigation apps are 50% off this Black Friday. Check here.

And Sygic maps are also 50% off. Check here.

I've used Sygic on my iPhone and they are impressive.

This is Garmin's offering for Cyber Monday as well. LMU for CNNA for $49, and Onetime for $19, and the nüvi 3490LMT for $169.99 (less than 1/2 price).
