I noticed that many times as well. I mount the 60 as close to my clutch hand as possible and easily hit buttons without even looking. I really noticed how much I do that and time saved when I tried to navigate by map, and when half the buttons on the 60 broke. I think I'll trade it in for a refurb.. the used 60's are selling for ridiculous prices on Ebay.

Card came in the mail with a code. Use code on garmin.com where you pay, and all works like it's supposed to.

Howdy gang,
I finally decided to bite the bullet and get the lifetime updates for my Garmin 478. Logged into my account and it showed a discount was available by entering SPRING14 into the coupon code box.

Ha!!! the lifetime updates went from $89.99 to $59.99
