Just a followup...

I got the GPS, it was sold by Target through Amazon. It arrived in about a week. It was new, perfect, unopened. I have used it for some geocaching, and its working great!

Good lord, they are going for over $300 on Amazon today!

Cheap 2720 refurb. Is it hard to find UK or EU maps? Is the 2820 worth the extra money?

Laugh zuma 550

Bought a Zuma 550 on line from Amazon yesterday for $639 + free shipping.

A little more than some places, but I had never heard of those other places and I know I will be treated right by Amazon.

What does this mean? No SD cards, but "indefinite" storage? Good price.

Storage: Internal flash memory
Data storage: Indefinite; no memory battery required

I just bought a refurbed 2720 on ebay for $110.95
my uncle is a gps noob and wanted one for his Concours 14.

If I like it I might order up another and keep it mounted on the Strom all the time and use my 276C on the other two bikes.

Seems like a hell of a lot of gps for the money.

I'm right there with you. Bought the 2720 refurb off ebay for 109 something. from Emcasey or whatever.

Good stuff....it'll sit in a box for 4 months. I agree. Seems like a helluva buy for 100 bucks.

Now I need to learn how to load off-road routes onto it. Easy?

This 2720 refurb deal is sounding more and more appealing.

Also interested in adding routes and my other two questions above on storage limitations.

Can you load topo maps on it?

Got my 2720 today, actually this one is for my uncle, gonna help him mount it on his Concours 14.
it says it is a remanufactured but it looks like a brand new unit.

I pulled it out of the box and played with it and it works pretty well, so....... I ordered another one for myself this evening, can't beat the price.
