6 of us were there about 10am, with another 4-5 bikes sprinkling in - big hit was the bone-in ham!

On the way in, a squid high-sided about 2/3 up on the west side - cleaned up when we went back - buddy had road-rash first aid, and looked like he was going to be ok -

Sure like the Cafe for breakfast - great ride over and back.

Evil deal, McStiff's. Hate to bear bad news, but a friend of mine who makes his living with Jeep tours in Moab says that the owner of Eddie McStiff's is all in favor, and vocally so, about closing off motorized vehicles from all the trails so they can remain pristine for the hikers and mountain bikers.... I don't think he understands that his beloved non-motorized cyclists would be next on the list for SUWA. Just hit the Moab Brewery instead. They like motorheads. Again, sorry, but I had to mention that.

If you like old time drive-in food and the best shakes around go to Peach City in Brigham City. Dixie Grill in Brigham City. For a great breakfast J.C.'s Diner in Tremonton.

A new one (I'd long forgotten).....

Great breakfasts- each of the booths have a small "so-& so sat here" note on the wall.

I got the Wilford Brimley table

Bump for a new diner, though it's not much of a ride for me:
Ready?.......

I give you, for your eating pleasure:

The SOUL & BONES cafe, serving old school southern BBQ/comfort food
24th street and Kisel ave in Ogden

great smoked chicken, very good hush puppies/dirty rice/etc...

the shrimp sandwich (with the coleslaw piled on top) was outstanding.
