Sign my basement and garage up too. Then find someone with an over abundance of patients to teach me how to use all the cool tools.

Wibby, you just figured out how to attract ladies, show them your garage.

Bump (I think I just ran over something)

New Plates for Esmerelda

I am considering changing the way Esmerelda is licensed from Truck to Special Interest. I am done with the heavy hauling and now she is just a toy in the toybox.

There is a company in central Oregon that has correct plates for the year she was born. It is only necessary to run one plate on the back. Which one do y'all think is the coolest?

New never issued truck plates

Gently used truck plates

Blue plates with a 69 sticker on them [Esmerelda is a 1967 model]

New old stock farm plate

Or single blue plate

I like the blue plates. If I saw one of the old truck plates, I think I would just assume it was old\weathered.

This one:

Blue doesn't go well with the color of the truck and this one will. All classy ladies prefer to be color coordinated or at the very least not clashing.

I must be bored, I'm reading this thread again.

Bump

I was leaning towards that one. Figured that it was probably obviously in use as an SI plate and might be less likely to earn me a roadside conversation.

Thanks for that Ladybug! I like the orange plates. Would be nice to have a sticker on it for the correct year. Here's one with a 1967 sticker on it but there is not much room to put the Special Interest sticker on it.

I REALLY like these Pacific Wonderland plates, they are cool.

This one is rough enough to match Esmerelda's current condition

In case anyone is looking...

Here's some info on the shelving system I used.

It's made by John Sterling Corp http://johnsterling.com/aboutfastmount.htm

It's an amazingly heavy-duty system

Everything you see pictured is supported on 3 standards. The 1 1/8 plywood workbench top is supported with heavy-duty supported brackets rated at 300lbs each. The shelves above and below are supported with brackets rated at 150Lbs each. And the top shelf is supported with brackets rated at 100lbs each

*bump*

I wonder if they had a farm plate that said F-YYFF on it?

I know there is an MC plate out there with that.
