You know Pat Smage, he was in KS/Oklahoma for a couple weeks, not that long ago... I got to see him ride a LOT. Watching him ride, apparently with proper technique, that 5 tie wall, needs no kicker, lol. {grin}.

I stood at a rock he was jumping, after he jumped of course and moved on, it was shoulder high, nothing but his rear wheel touches any part of that, until the last 3 inches of that rock. the rock was slanted out of the ground, so it was at 70-80 or so degrees, in other words undercut, or top facing towards him... No kicker. Yeah I said "wow," then went back to the pickup and played with something 'I could handle,' which was a beer and tonka toys... hehehehee.

Nice job on the walls though, I have one in the woods, wonder if your neighbor thinks you are preparing for war? lol.

I have been trying to figure out the ground splatter. We have (kinda) learned how to jam the front tire into a ledge or to just kiss the front tire on the way up, but it seems as though the top guys can go directly up stuff from the back wheel (just like you described). I am just dreaming though and will probably never get it.

I'm lovin' the splatter wall idea! Lots of great practice could be done with that. As the forests close it might be time to have an event at Casa de Gordy again!

Back at it this morning.

It's coming along great and I hope to have "this part of it" done today.

You would think that we could get more emergency room docs to help us with this stuff. .

You guys are like callouses.

I got phase one of the re-model done today.

I have easy(er) ups included and optional kickers. I will need the one on the tall one for starters.

I even got it all planted with vines and crap to hold the soil in place. The slope is seeded with wildflower mix. If only 10% of it grows, it will be nice.

Curtis' Gap

Threw up this coyote fence and planted some fast growing stuff to keep the noise hitting my neighbor to a minimum. He has never said anything, but this might help if we put up lights for an evening or three.

Lots of entertainment to be had here.

That's the clothes line.

You definitely want to stay away from that!

Come on - own up. Your out there playing badminton all the time. Nice try with the line about the fence and the lights - you dont want your neighbors finding out about the night-minton.....
