I have to say I really enjoy the pictures in this thread. Those landscapes are unlike anything I've seen in Europe so I hope to one day be able to ride through those vast plains. Keen on posting.

Near Karval CO. The drought and wind have led to an incredible amount of sand blowing. You can see the road ditches have blown across much like driting snow. The fence posts are half buried. This was good grassland a few years back. Now looks more like sand dunes. When I was there today, the wind was only blowing about 15mph and I could feel the sand hitting me in the face.
