The houses are what got to me the most I think out there... I can't wait to go back, there's something magical about the Plains...

Another favorite from Eastern Colorado, US 40 East I think

Klay, when were you thinking about Broken Bow? Are you in the area?

BB, all, Judy and I would be thrilled to meet any of you for lunch or what ever. Guesstimate is Oct 13th or 14th in Omaha to get new tread and fresh oil - early AM. I will nail the date and PM each. I am planning 3 days of flexibility. Can use one or two here to meet some Great Plains Inmates.

Cheers,

Jed.

Now let's get back to those beautiful pictures!!!

Thumb Double-take.....

I was driving back from New Mexico in the spring, when I ran into the backside of a thunderstorm somewhere east of Dodge City, KS...The Grainery was a stark contrast to the storms clouds to the east..

As I blew by the Grainery, it struck me that it didn't fit in...It had the look from the past....Needless to say, I turned around and spent some time photographing it..."The Storm Clouds made the shot"...

I did no know that the Great Plains extended to the west side of the Rocky Mountains.
