Wishing for the FJ
Hwy 12 from Valentine to Butte gave up nice enough pictures on the backside of the storm, that I decided to forgo the GS Wrestling that would have ensued down those soft country roads.......

I have a tradition whenever I head out into the plains..
I start my trip by listening to this song.. one of my all time favorites and arguably one of the best songs ever written about the great plains. Driving down A corduroy road Weeds standing Shoulder high Ferris wheel is rusting off In the distance At the hundredth meridian Where the great plains begin
