Yes it was. But I had a pup to get home to. The Wife was leaving town on business the night before I got home, so I had motivation. Rolled in to the driveway at eight am. He was waiting.

Of course, I like to fish and golf and walking around carrying a big lightning rod makes me skittish when the weather gets bad....

And Bill, I hope that camera was out on a tripod with a timed exposure, that was TOO CLOSE....awesome pic though!

Then you woulda hated the ride I took to the top of Mt. Evans in CO a couple of summers ago. An insane electrical storm moved in on us and there were lightning stikes all around us. Nowhere to hide and nothing to do except keep riding. I was very scared.
