Hell yes. We don't care what the rest of them think.

Right about where the North Slope foothills meet the Arctic Coastal Plain, some 60 miles south of Prudhoe Bay.

I was going to say North of Atigan pass on the Haul Road. I was judging,in part, by the size of that Mosquito in the first pic.

I think I stopped at the same spot. Only when I stopped there was no blue sky. Atigun pass was rain/sleet and dense fog. It finally cleared up when I got to Deadhorse. Beautiful country though. I want to go back.

Thanks for the kind words. This particular photo was taken in the small town of Rushville, Nebraska. it is about a 1/2 hour ride from Chadron, Nebraska on Highway 20.

Two things I'm coming to find is that if you compare maps from 75 years ago, small towns are dying and farms have the same last name.

AHHHH the town is Barada and the little old lady makes ohe hell of a sammich. How in the hell did you end up there?

How did I end up in Badara

I'm on what was a three year quest to photograph my bikes in every town in the state of Nebraska. Well every town that is listed on the 2008 Rand McNally road map.
I've hit about 490 towns so far. There was 649 towns on that particular map Its hung up and I line out the towns and the riding as I go along. Hell its even color coded. MY one true grand adventure outside of life.
Funny, but you're the only person who ever heard of Badara. lol.
Good for you adn your travels.
I still want to hit Whitman road. You chould look into that. It's a great ride and good views along teh way...South of Gehring is also one of my favorite rides going by Courthouse rock and Jailhouse rock...
Enjoy.

LOL I Have been there alot, just north of the store on the east side of the street there is an old yellow'ish morton building that was a bar and they would sell beer to us "kids" way back when, nobody up there gave a dam, if you could get there you could drink LOl.
I live just south west of there kind of between Stella, Dawson, and Humboldt, we ride all over the country around here and I have traveled all over the state in various vehicles. I worked ranches around hyannis thedford tryon area when I was a kid and beat what ever I could find to ride all over the place out west, Any way there are some good pictures to be had here in the far south east corner of the state too.
