The most recent edition of Classic Racer Magazine has a very interesting article on the racing beemer of Ron Maul, which won a couple of classic championships last year.

More info as I come across it :-) I particularly like the 2-into-1 exhaust.

What a fucking excellent motorcycle.....the only quibble I might have is that the seat is a tad long for my taste, but everything else is just hip'n'damndoodleybrilliant, especially the tyres (tires).

Obviously, I'm referring to the post before the one above. The post above seems to show a motorcycle travelling at unnecessarily high speeds. What would the rider do if he wanted to light his pipe, eh? The wind would blow his match out.......

Yeah, referring to the blue bike in post 2400 I would agree on the seat length, but I guess the rear peg visible at the top of the exhaust mount indicates it's a bicycle built for two? As you know, nobody will pillion with me so I've no need of a second seat or rear pegs. It's a nice chunky looking thing though isn't it.

As an aside, I've been running a sweepstake with myself to see how long it would take for the pipe smoker gif to make an appearance

How much did you win? Can you lend me several thousand filthy english pounds so I can buy a nice'n'shiny motorbike?
No? Well ok then.....I have a gif of a smoking elf that you might like, I'll just upload it to photofukkit and then copy and paste the embed code on a post here......yes, that's right, I don't have what might pass as a life, so I keep myself busy doing things like that/this.....although, I have been commissioned to build a kennel. That's right a kennel.......

"The most dangerous man, to any government, is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he come to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane and intolerable, and so, if he is romantic, he tries to change it. And even if he is not romantic personally he is very apt to spread discontent among those who are." - H.L. Mencken, Smart Set Magazine, December 1919
