Not seen it yet due to bandwidth throttling, but I put it here 'on one side' so I could have a look when I get the net speed...

Recently built by BSK SpeedWorks, this BMW K100 Race Replica is now for sale.
This is a road legal replica of our K100 racer, currently campaigned in the B.E.A.R.S Championship with British Historic Racing. It features many of the same performance parts plus benefits from some later/improved parts that are not allowed on the racer due to race regulations, which state all parts must be pre 1984 and of European/US origin. The donor bike was a standard, well maintained, 1984 K100rs in good condition with 48k miles. This was stripped down and the bike has undergone a ground up rebuild. The engine has been rebuilt with new parts fitted as needed, including a new clutch and reconditioned oil/water pump. The motor is mildly tuned and with our improved air intake and exhaust system and a few choice tweaks, it goes well. The engine internals have been left standard for reliability. The frame was stripped and lightened and the rear frame loop removed. Strengthening was added to the frame and was then blasted and powder coated. The bike has been professionally painted in Pearlescent white and BMW Motorsport colours. In total we removed a massive 50kg+ in weight over the standard bike with all unnecessary parts being removed or replaced with lighter or performance parts. This brings the weight down to around 190kg, that’s less than a BMW S1000r. The later wheels allow the use of modern rubber (160/17 and 120/17) we have fitted Sticky Pirelli Rosso Corsa road/trackday tyres. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spec: BMW K1100 Forks rebuilt with Ram Progressive Fork Springs. Uh huh, tho/ough I can see why he went for the wider tyres the selected wheels allow (160/17 and 120/17). It's only 10 or so miles from here, if I get to getting the time/peterol money I might be inclined to go have a gander.

I need a cheap pod mounted voltmeter on the Airhead DMW. I had one on the Rat K Me-MW but it was lost in the great Shedquaters conflagration, and the independent motor parts shop in town where I got the last one is now closed, like much of the town centre. None of the majors seem to do anything at a comparable price... At the kind of prices they want, or the kind of prices BMW originals seem to be going for, I may as well buy a cheap solar powered multimeter & stick it in a ziplock bag on the tank
