Ah yes, I'd not properly looked at the 3rd bike because just as I was posting it I'd only got as far as the Scotts when, er, The Good Wicked Woman arrived...

Granted it does look like it'd mash any stray fingers even with the bike not running. All it would take is something like ongoing pit work on the front wheel & the rider rolling forward an inch and suddenly anyone who had to count on their fingers would be forced to count in base 9?

Too troo, on absolutely all counts But I must be frank & admit that it took a moment for my slow Brane to get the 35 & tonne references as I'm sorta a big shagged out...

I think I'm right in saying that Anka-Eve Goldmann is the source for my ident pic? Still, I'm not proud, we should all be in touch with our feminine side (I know I am), especially if our feminine side is a bad assed Beemer rider :-D

Anka-Eve is a babe,no doubts. And could most likely kick my arse riding beemers around.

Shining,adjective.

1. radiant; gleaming; bright.

2. resplendent; brilliant: shining talents.

3. conspicuously fine: a shining example.

Wasn't speaking literally, but I guess it was worth repeating if you felt you really had to.

Well, I'm not rushing to fool myself things are sorted, but something has happened which has lifted me somewhat, and that gives me a little strength...

Does anybody have any info on Ron's bike?

It looks like its running the later monolever type v forks, but turned around backwards. I have seen the top clamp before but can't remember where. If its the r65 monolever clamp it would also have the r65 forks.

Both make since with the brimbo brakes

I also might be way off.

If ya have any info I would like to hear it.

Oh how sweet, you're talking as if I might actually know something. Shucks

No, no idea & I wouldn't even know what I'm looking at, but I have tried a search for a contact point for Ron Maul & nothing particular came up at a cursory glance, so have contacted the ever speedy Ben Kingham at the mighty BSK Speedworks and asked if he has a contact point for Ron to get the info from the horses proverbial. He may have one, which he may or may not feel is appropriate to hand out Nilly Willy, but either way I've passed on the enquiry so that if it's possible to get a message thru/ough to Ron thru/ough this route then we might hear something back. Maybe, Possibly.

Of course as you fully recognise through your application of the opening phrase 'does anybody' in your post, there may be some other lurker of this dingy corner of a corner of the Airhead Universe who may be able to respond with the requested info in a more enlightening manner. Otherwise, I'm afraid your call is held in a queue until I may hear something back.

(Insert cheezy 'on hold' mooosic)

Oh, and as a general note, some interesting words over here http://www.k21.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=2068.0
