Another alternative is to have a rack fabricated by a local welder and go with used Al Jesse bags for an 1100 GS. I'm relatively happy with them.

Subframe RD03

Not a good picture but here it is. The main difference between the RD03 and RD04 is the upper cowl support. The RD04 has two supports that goes from the frame to the cowl to provide extra leverage because of the higher screen. I'll do something like that in mine, but using the signal lights support of the bracket to provide extra support for the cowl, because I installed a higher wingshield....

Looking for more pictures...hold on

Actually, it's Highway 1 just south of Big Sur. Do you miss it out here? There must be great riding in your neck of the woods, I imagine?

Another picture...

This the top view of the mockup, not painted yet. The lower tank bracket is the same as RD04

I thought it was the 150 exit, at the bluffs.

Once the snow stops flying, it's heaven. Keyword: stops. I'm heading down to TX for some riding in a little over a week.

Nice ...........

I might, but I would prefer just getting hardware and having it altered for my Gobi's so I don't have to kick out additional cash on bags .......
But if that's what it comes down to, I just may, though from what Jim was saying above, I should be able to have my local fabricator / friend modify some HB hardware for it.

With that said, what do you guys think would be the best "model" (as in model of bike) of HB hardware to get to modify ???????

G.
