Yeah, I'm so glad I never took a pic of both my AT's at one time.

Thanks Jim for posting the pictures. Since I wasn't posting these the last couple of years, I had more time for tire and oil changes. The purple AT is just being stored for someone and since I moved my other bikes to the next bay I had room to help him out. The modified TA is Mario's old one which I beefed up with the xr stuff. My KTM has the large 6+ front tank and the rear tank for long range offroad stuff. The GS is a custom PD classic idea with wirth and ohlin suspension and a couple of other goodies. The TA in the backround is an original 5000 mile stock bike with the pelicans mounted with touratech hardware to H/B racks. The bags held up great in Baja and they come off in a couple of minutes which is handy. The AT has been in the states for some time. I bought it from a great guy in AL. several years ago. It has the tourtech big butt bags and a D&D exhaust. It is in great shape and has around 24k miles on it. I will be riding the bike around CA with Oscar/ Mario and several in May. All right I have come clean. Now I feel better.

Well at least we know why there aren't more ATs on the road in NAm at any one time....at_dirt has 'em all

Very nice collection....I'm ENVIOUS !!

I might make the CA part of the ride with you folks if I can swing a couple shift away from the firehouse...here's hoping.

Mine is coming on the May ride, how about yours? p.s. your old TA is finally done with the conversion, and it works well. Thanks to all that have been inputing about the TA to AT conversions and the XR fork stuff, you guys were a big help.

I get mine out, but I'm a pansy and don't like to get dirty:

Mine coming out on the trip too. We need to somehow catch up to atgreg (in terms of kilometers/miles).

Going to the dance a.k.a. NAATRS

Well as you all know I don't like showing up to a dance where someone is wearing the same dress as me so to speak. This is one dance wear I won't mind one bit.

Come on guy, wipe the dust off or put the dust on your Africa twin.
Lets see how many we can get to show up for the
NORTH AMERICAN AFRICA TWIN RIDERS SUMMIT!

The summit of Pikes Peak sounds like the perfect place for a summit.

Another ATwin

Hey guys.......Scott is on the "up and up" about the purple/gold AT in his garage! He is storing it for our German buddy, Joerg Becker (see his face all over the Touratech Cat. for 2008). I am sending a pic of my 93' now stored in Joerg's barn in Germany. It seems we will be riding each other's AT's for now!
Looking forward to a visit by Oscar, Mario and Scott in May!
Steve

Nothing like rubbing salt on a wound.

I only work Monday thru friday to recover from the bike rides on the weekends!

Oh yeah? I'm leaving today for a week of riding in Texas where the longest day will cover 322km. Okay 200 miles but km looks farther.

Steve, I think our little community here is only giving Scott a ribbing in a friendly way. No need to come to his defense. But now, YOU have some explaining to do yourself.

Mention a gathering and they're popping out of the woodwork.

See ya'll next week, barring a hospital stay.

Jim.
