Well Mario, looks like we are going to be falling further behind Atgreg in the next 8 weeks. I'm starting to feel as if we work to hard. Maybe if we added our bikes miles together then multiplied by four we would be getting close. (40000+40000km)x4=320000Km. Hey I think we did it unless he extends his trip!

A few piccies from my weekend ride;

The forks are much better now after the 2nd revalve, still a little sticky but I think they'll be fine.

The front guard touches the crashbar/bashplate mounts big hits so I think Im going to try a high guard or maybe try and lower the low guard, we'll see

i don't know how you guys take these big bikes offroad, i only rode my AT for about 80klms now but i find it very big .i don't think i would be able to ride it on dirt ,i love it on pavement. i never did intend to take it offroad anyway, i guess i'm just not brave enough,plus i haven't been on dirt since 1989.
more pics of AT'S please.

Yo .... North. I'd love to get both of our bikes together at a summit meeting.
I think there's been no word on a get together as Jim is down in TX. I did look at my schedule of events, and later August would be easier for me than early August, due to vacation schedules of co-workers. I'm a network engineer, and there has to be someone on site to fix things.
I looked at mileage from OR to CO, and it looks to be around 1200 miles one way, that's without knowing specifics of where in CO.
So basically I'm thinking, that's 3 days there, and 3 days back, and probably a 3 day weekend at said get together, so to take that time off, as I said, it would be easier for me later into August.

Anybody ??????

Late August would prob. be better for me too. I think that's a better time for at_dirt as well.

Thanks for sharing the pictures! I also have the same problem with the fender, although I have the stock set-up. I'm thinking of just grabbing a saw as a possible solution.

Talking AT Get Together, and a simple battery survey / question for my RD03

Greetings everyone .....

And it looks like the end of August may be the ticket, eh, for our little get together .... For some reason at the moment I feel like a substitute Jim.

So, at this moment it seems like we have the following for a CO AT get together;

CaliforniaXRV, Jim (but he doesn't count cause he's in CO ) myself, North Rider, and Pete. Am I missing anyone else ????

Now onto the "oppinion question" ....
I need a replacement battery, and I usually just get westec batteries.
I know that there are many other manufactureres out there, what batteries do you guys use? Would one of those sealed gel batteries be better, etc ???

Just curious more than anything ........

Take it easy everyone and ride safe!

G.

That's F'ing sweet !!!!!

I found a manufacturer overseas that makes that identcal dash cover but in plastic. I want the plastic one, since I have an RD03, and they're for RD07s. I figured with the plastic, I could tweek it / cut it, to proper size.
