All are welcome!

Hey the photo angle had me guessing and I'm gaa gaa for the twin.
So sorry for mistaking your bike for a RD04. Now if we can get all these bikes together in one place to compare, than it will all be clear for everyone!

Saw this parked on Saturday, as I was passing through Dubai.
Thought you guys would like it. I have no idea if images of it have previously been posted, and am far too lazy to check.

Enjoy!

Cheers, Maynard

Verrrry Interesting

Here an interesting little "tidbit" from the 08 Optic Rallye

Quote:
Surprise amongst bikers at the bivouac last night as, an as yet unidentified Libyan biker showed up riding an Africa Twin Honda, 20 years of age. Still in good shape if slightly beaten up, it had last been seen close to Agadez in Nigeria during the 88 Paris Dakar as veteran pilot Eric Piroud, forced to abandon had left it, keys in contact, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Incredible but true you could still read the previous’ owners name on it.
Dunno how Jim or Greg missed buying this one!

Talking

Went to the DMV yesterday ......

Was there for a total of like 25 minutes because of the line .....

The DMV peeps didn't even raise an eyebrow .......

She's plated, and the title will be in my hands in about 3 weeks.

Now to figure out how to get an RD07 ......

Another A/T in Floriduh...1993 RD07 $8,000...yikes!

FYI, the part shown above is a Scott's steering damper. Its counteracts high speed wobble in the steering but I am not sure if the A/T needs it. I guess any bike traveling in loose sand at high speed would certainly benefit from it....it's a great farkle!

That's too steep for me at this moment ....... But I think I may start checking FL's CL list .... as it seems that's where they're at.

You know this bike is dated ( OLD ) and we all know people move to Florida when they are dated ( OLD ) So it stands to reason you would find the most Twins in Florida

The one on craigslist belongs to someone I know and if he dosen't sell it
by the time the summit rolls around,he will be meeting up with me for the ride out.
