To this...

One of the lamps is powered like normal. The other I wired so that hi and lo have their own switch and can be run together. This makes for a really nice light output. I just got back from a little night run and I'm happy with it. It's not tons better than the bigass single lamp, but it's at least just as good. Plus, I've got like... 10,000 light configurations now!

Thank you. I did use the twin lamp cowl on that so it better! I saved the single lens cowl... it's going to look nice on my wall.

Here's the cockpit view... the light switches are in the top left area.

Nice job, Modrover, as usual.

What did you use for the mesh guards?

Thank you! It's actually a factory part... that you can't get any longer.

Dang Mod I wish I would have known you where looking for one of those. I have a spare dual headlight assembly. I converted mine to PIAA 80w H4 bulbs.

Yep, I've finally got all my bits for the twin lamp (remember I've got the oddball single lens RD03 -rare yes, but all ATs should have the proper twin rally lamps) conversion. I'm also going to upgrade the bulbs to 55/60W H4.

Oh look... here's what I've done so far. I used an old Cibie lamp from a Land Rover and the orginal Stanley lamp for the SuperEnduro remains... for the bulb holder. I mod'd it up to fit the H3 and will be doing the wiring this weekend.

My plan is to have one lamp working just like stock. The other lamp will be on it's own switch with off, lo, and hi settings. This way... any problems that might come up with say a stock light switch, wiring harness, etc... won't leave me in the dark.

My only question... will the stock Stanley lamps made for 35W H3 bulbs handle the extra heat of the 55/60W H4?

What year or model wheel (RD03, RD04 or RD07) are you looking for? I'll keep an eye out for one for you.

Jim.

I know that the RD03 and RD04 will work. the RD07 looks the same but I'm not 100% sure. That would be wonderfull if you could find one for me. I would also need the rotor with it. Even one with a bent rim would be ok.

I'll consider it a challenge. We U.S. AT riders need to help each other out.
Jim.

Side Panniers/luggage

I'm looking for a pair of Africa Twin or Honda Side panniers model "301" or "Honda-Case 301"
I keep seeing them in Pics didn't know honda had such cases.

Anybody know where i can them? Price? Shipping?

I'm in Singapore, the sales staff here just sit around in the Honda show room waiting for their pay cheques.

"Huh? what???... cases??"
