Back in Black

Altough the original colours of the RD03 are really cool, I had to try it this way

Got my RD03 Marathon replica almost finished now except the bash plate.

I can't seem to upload pics (it says I have already attached a picture?) so here's a link to the XRV.org forum

Great

I was wondering how my bike would look in black, and now I have more or less an idea!

I wonder what is that on the front fender:
  • A microphone...to record old ladies screaming!!!
  • Windshield washer...see how I always keep my windshield so clean!
  • Laser beam...to disintegrate slow cars or make your way in the woods
  • Temperature sensor, so it will turn on your handwarmers...
  • Smog detector...so it will switch to clean mode...
  • Movement detector, so it will adjust the suspension?
  • All of the above...????

It's a GPS antenna.

And here's a new AT-driver .

I'm Bjorn from Belgium, 30 years young (or old?) and I'm riding a AT since sept. 2008.
I had a couple of TDM900's before ('02 with 75.000km and then a '05 with 26.000km) buth the off-road capability wasn't good enough for me .

So I bought a AT, 67.000km (about 42.000 miles), build in 1993.

I also do some circuitdriving, 5 years with 2 Yamaha TRX850, but i sold them together with the second TDM900 .
Next year I'll drive a Yamaha Thundercat.
I also did some races with a GSX-r750s-rad in het 'no budget cup' (only bikes build between '90 and '99)

TRX1 : http://users.telenet.be/sterreke/Mot...039_Resize.jpg
and
TRX2 : http://users.telenet.be/sterreke/Moto/Fol_01.jpg

Thundercat (with friend of my) : http://users.telenet.be/sterreke/Mot...cat_sarah1.jpg

gsx-r : http://users.telenet.be/sterreke/Moto/Bjorn_Zolder1.jpg

If any of you come to Belgium, always welcome !!

Welcome!

Welcome Bjorn!

Glad that you, like others, had climbed the ladder into the AT world!

I like the color combination on your bike. Where is that dirt road? Its inviting...

Thanks

That dirt road is in France. The French border is only 20miles from here . But I'm sure the roads (= off-road) in Puerto Rico are much better then here .

Talking Screw / Bolt sets ??????

Hey everyone ......

K, so I'm being lazy and just posting here, instead of surfing around ....

With the upcoming transforg-i-mation of Copperhead, I've thought about replacing all of the screws / bolts on her for the plastics, etc.

1.) not only to get rid of the rusted ones ......
2.) but to make them all a uniformed type. Be it Allen head, or whatever.

Does anyone have any good suggestions for a website to go to that carries a set in the proper size(s) ?

Mucho thanks .....

G.

For all the plastics? What I did I took a sample of each and visited a nuts and bolts store. Yo may do allen, but there is also torx. The advantage with allen is that you may use the ball type wrench to do those that can't be reached straight to it. But, I'm not sure, I there are not round head allen bolts that are prefered to be used with the plastics...just a thought!

There are kits for the engine but you need to go to .de or .fr.

If I see something, I'll let you know...but probably there are others here that have the answer...

Did you get all the parts?
