Well being fair, I was just lucky. I found it in Loja (south of Ecuador) when backpacking around there, I'm from Colombia but work in Canada. You won't believe it but it had only 9000 kms (!!) on the odo when I bought it. I feel very lucky, I think it is the better shape's AT in Ecuador. She's a thing of beauty, isn't she?

So...you wanna rent your AT out....or I can swap you mine here in Calgary.

Your sure lucky (must be nice) to have a GS in Calgary and an AT in Ecuador.
Yeah, Ecuador is definitely one great country for m'cycling, 93 RON gas is around $2.00 a gallon (still cheap), low motorcycle robbery, cheap SOAT (mandatory accident's medical coverage) insurance, good low-traffic roads (all primary roads has been improved recently), great cheap sea food and I think it is one of the few countries you can buy a vehicle being a tourist , this is how I got this AT.

Sorry, but renting it would be like sharing my girlfriend and I'm old fashioned

I guess I saw you AT at a gas station last year when I did my trip to the west coast, maybe in Revelstoke in last week of june?? .

I'm a firm believer that the single most important upgrade you can make to an Africa Twin is to upgrade the suspension. Buy the best you can afford and Jonathan at Rugged Roads is a great person to work with. I'm in the midst of getting a large assortment of parts from Rugged Roads and Jonathan has gone out of his way to be helpful. Highly recommended!!

Hey guys, if you get too bored fixing those bikes, have a go at my recent RR where you will get a good dosage of @ doing what they are meant to...

I guess it will be finished by the weekend, almost 1000 pics between the two of us, some of them really really good... I thought I'd pimp the thread here as I know the @ owners will find it pleasing for sure....

Now get back looking for those washers!!

Awesome, I'll be keeping an eye on this. I've always wanted to go to Greece and have one friend from Athens who's living in Ireland now. I had hoped to get there this year but a lack of funds said no. Ah well, I'll do it through this

Have a general question for all, what is used for black plastics in order to make then not look so dirty but not oily or shiny too. I'm referring to the wheel well, air box and snorkel that goes to the carbs on the RD04. Cleaning isnt getting it done its more like stain.

I am selling my AT '92.
The price will be low since it's not in good condition although it's running.
The bike is in Athens, Greece.

Since it's my first time I am selling a bike in an international site any advice is accepted!!

Those plastics you refer to are more of a Flat/Satin finish IMO. Or you can opt for a Flat black or also called Matte black. I would go with the Satin finish which is not as ashy.
