You might try this, if you can get it.

Keith, I've seen good things about a product called Mothers Back to black. It's available in the US at most of the Big Box (Walmart etc.) and auto part stores, in the Car Care section. Comes in an 8oz bottle, IIRC. I haven't used it myself....yet.

Look at www.mothers.com.

Windscreen

Why do you take the fairing and the windscreen off for some rides?

sometimes on purpose, sometimes a rock or a tree does that for me :) that's why I stopped painting my bike, I just collect spare fairings from ebay.de and switch 'em :) now I'm rockin' this black and blue "mod" previously I had RD07A fairing holder and front fairing but I hated the looks of it and the windscreen choices so I went back to good ol' RD07 and MRA screen (IMO best screen out there for RD07)... but it's tall so I leave it in the tent while ridding off road... when I go home after these rides there is usually around 200-300km back home so I love the touring screen :) but africa as a naked bike is much better off road IMO... I love that I can see my front wheel when going trough some difficult spots and narrow ledges...

oh yeah, my location is Belgrade, Serbia...

sometimes I upload some photos here, I'll try to remember and do that more often :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/rusic/c...7615317256358/

tomorrow I must go find myself a new set of tires since the last few rides I did on anakee 2 and sliding around on mud and gravel is only fun If it's on purpose and controlled :) I'm thinking about an extra set of wheels with tkc or t63 (too bad there isn't 140 width for back tire) or E10 (mitas, I know, but I got some "thumbs up" regarding those)....

all the best, I'm off to enjoy the sun while the weekend lasts :)

Eastern Beaver 3CS

I'm installing the 3 circuit solution from Eastern Beaver. Prolly should have gone with the @ specific kit, but I have the sealed set with the posi-tap for the relay instead. What wire (location/color) is best to tap into? I tried tapping into the g/y and g wires that I thought were the switched wires for rear tail light but didn't seem to get it working off either.

under the tank on the R side (on my RD07), pretty much above the rear cylinder, there is the main harness with a connector (plastic) and 2 black wires going into the plastic connectors. that is where my posi tap is
hope it helps

Good times Rusic! I might be in Beograd mid August, I'll pm you for suggestions for near-by excursions...

Meanwhile, I finished my RR. You can read it completed here.
