nice bike
Yes, I still have it. It's nice nice but not as reliable as the AT or TA.

Here is a pic from the AfricaTwin meeting in Germany 2 weeks ago.

This was the day I won an ebay auction with a black RD04

Question XRV750 parts availability in US

Last week I shipped my AT from S. Petersburg to NewYork by Ro-Ro ferry. The big journey started but I missed one important thing. Honda have never sold AT in US. I am checking ebay every day but can not find aftermarket sprockets, and brake disks. Some kinds of disks are available but it is nameless product most likely made in chinese village. I prefer to get the parts from well known manufacturer (EBC, Breaking, Lucas, Sunstar, JT, etc) even it have been made in China. Arriving in New York on 19 Oct I will get the bike from the ferry and ride to the West Coast and then via Mexico to South America.
Does anybody have a suggestions where I can buy or order AT parts in States?

Alex

I bought my SR 41 Suzuki DR 750 Big with it's 29 liters-tank to get from Linz-on-the-Rhine to my friends at Stuttgart without the need of re-fueling - usually on late friday-nights with all the Odenwald-gas-stations shut down ... Problem is, that - up to this moment - I mostly carry around some 15 liters of gas in my (right-hand) tank as the connection between the two halves doesn't work properly ... ... but sometimes it does, that's the mystery!
But still kind regards, Bambi
PS: nice bike you've got!!! How about a shot of the front-view?
One box should be enough für more than 10 bottles I love Scotch and Irish whisky but more is way to expensive

Here is the front view:

Alex,

First, you should take a look at page 664 of this thread.

Then, You could order from David Silver or Wemoto for delivery to a US address, or after you are sure of the part numbers, you can probably order most of what you need in the US at Service Honda. Things like chains you can buy here from most any on-line retail places.

Hope this helps. Have a great ride. Dennis Martin

Hey Hectoe,
unfortunately I can not see you video. When I try to play it I only see a message, that this video is not allowed in Germany because of music from SME.

Many problems appeared. So it is going very slow. Neverthless I am not in hurry, I am considering every detail. Until this moment I have these parts completed: red frame, front Excel wheel (rear in 2 weeks), front fork repaired, Wilbers shock. When putted on wheels, than engine control with black color finish, electrics, fairings,...

Will see, when it will be finished. If any new pics, I will definitely post them ;)
