Wink NZ RD04 update

Hi all...sorry I seldom pop in, I spend most of my time on the KiwiBiker site here in NZ.

Being that there are very few AT's down here (maybe around 6 or so) I thought I would share my updates among fellow AT enthusiasts...

Here's a few pictures from my adventures over the past year. Thanks go to my fellow KiwiBikers for some of these photos.

Sometimes a man just needs to take his chainsaw for a ride...

Unfortunately I didn't have it this time....

Photobucket

It got a bit cold here over winter...well, cold as far as NZ is concerned!

Photobucket

Sometimes its good to have a riding buddy ... or five, to help in sticky situations.

Photobucket

And sometimes one needs a little mechanical assistance in the form of a winch...y'know, to make those "tough" climbs...

Always a smile on my dial with the RD04...

Cheers, and ride safe, Buggs

Nice photo of Dad.

That's why he sent his son to engineering school then stuck him up front on moto trips.

I've seen only 3 or 4 @s on the road in NZ in 3 years! And no other black ones. Rare is good. TransAlps just don't do it for me when I see all that road-biased plastic.

Actually, thinking about it more, there are probably more around - two RD03's I know of, three or four RD04's, and probably 4-5 RD07s. But there's only a very few of us who seem to actively advertise our steeds.

Twins

Particularly rare in Canada never even seen one in person although I know there are a few in my area for that matter the only other transalp I have seen is in a local shop on display. May have to make a trip to visit the sis in the UK and bring one back.
