Еще мой коллега спаял термо контроллер температуры масла, датчик температуры установли в сливную пробку! я его еще не установил,
и светодиодную лампочку - тахометр.

Another colleague of mine soldered thermo controller oil temperature sensor is installed in the drain plug! I had never found
and an LED light bulb - the tachometer.

Hi to all of you.
I finally caught up with the head of this enormous thread. It's been good reading and a lot of nice pictures, clips and good links. My only regret is that I'm now down to the pace of the normal growth of this thread :-/
Anyway 11/11/11 a great date to introduce myself. I ride a black/silver RD07 1994 which I've had since 2003. Time flies B-) Living in the kingdom of Sweden the riding season is somewhat reduced. At least for me who doesn't drive on stud tires.
I throw in a little pic from my 5th in a row summer ride to Norway. This is from the mountain Blh.

Northeast shore of Lake Pontchartrain. If you look closely at the horizon you will see the skyline of New Orleans. Could not ask for a prettier day.

The bike shown at this years EICMA show is the one ridden by Roberto Boano.

Is your ex-boss Jon Watson-Miller (Bracken Motorcycles)? who rode another Twin (#58) in the same year.

I guess I'm getting old but the old Dakar racers are, to my eyes, the best looking bikes in the entire show. (The new OSSA is nice too but that's about all) The "new" bikes kinda make me say.....meh

If I were there and could get away with it, I'd get a bunch of Rugby players together, pick up all the company reps and dump them (with great ceremony) into the sand in the Dakar display......then strongly....uhmmmm....suggest.......

BUILD THIS, STUPID. (how difficult can it be?)

My brother has his registered in North Carolina (it was first registered in California).

If this is in regards to the rd04 you are selling let the inmate know that it might be easier to register the bike in california via the woman who helped me register two africa twins here....and then transfer it to a south carolina title.

PM me for more info.

Africa Twin for Sale

Seriously: http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/mcy/2709893583.html

I have no affiliation with the seller, and know nothing about the bike; just passing on an opportunity. The ad is active as of 19 November 2011.

Single-owner sells an excellent eye-catching red-Ross white-Sahara blue 2000 Honda Africa CRV-750 with approximately 60,000 kilometers on its odometer. The twin-cylinders are a water-cooled 6-valve engine with offset cranks to eliminate virbration. The suspension system is Pro-Link to the rear and hydraulic 43mm fork at the front. The brakes are 276mm double disk at the front. The front of the cowling houses a double optic set of headlights. The aluminum engine guard protects the engine casing. The chasis is precise, stable, manueverable, and balanced. With its stock long-range 6.07 fuel tank, the Africa Twin can travel 186 miles without a fuel stop. The machine is a dual-purpose adventure sports twin with astonishing versatility on and off road. It is the "Humvee" of adventure category bikes. On the highway, it can travel nearly silently at very high-speeds and without vibration. Off-road, it can ford rivers that are knee-deep with water, traverse large rocks, muddy pathways, snow, and loose gravel and sand. It has chic sophistication as it prowls the alleys and avenues of the city like a big cat in search of its prey. The motorcycle was purchased in Japan, shipped to Guatemala City where it was ridden for three years by its owner. The bike made multiple trips between Mexico and Panama on the worst kinds of third world roads. Then in 2001, it was driven from Guatemala to New Mexico, where it passed all D.O.T emission and safety standards. It is registered and insured in the U.S.A. and is probably the only Africa Twin in the country. The motorcycle has a record of professional corrective and preventive maintainance and all documents are available for inspection. The Africa Twin's reputation for reliability is second to none in the Adventure Class and the fact that Federal Regulations now prevent its import, this striking machine is considered to be one-of-a-kind in New Mexico and in the United States and a valuable collector's item. Motorcycle will not be shipped anywhere!
