this was after the crash in may 2010... standard "I didn't see you" explanation from a stupid driver in his big bad car :)

after that I had played around and changed a bunch of parts... RD07 and RD07a front ends etc...

a rode it like that until march 2011 when I decided I liked the RD07 front end more and I missed my MRA touring windshield so I changed all the parts needed and went back to RD07 :)

now the "winter is coming" and I'm planing to tare it down to the last screw and fix it back up :) I'll take photos and videos... it's gonna be a fun winter

and it's great I have a friend who loves the Queen and has a garage.. otherwise I'd be taring it apart in my living room... and I would get smacked by my girl :)

hi guys,

I'm thinking about two things:

- what do you do when painting the front and rear fenders? they are "bendy" and white or black plastic, not painted... won't the paint crack on them?

- when lowering the footpegs, how low can you go before it's a real problem in the corners? 2cm? maybe more?

Bought myself a '88 AT with SW Motech fairing. The engine didn't sound so healthy, oil level was gone, very dirty airfilter, frontlights were broken, rear light didn't work... So the first idea was to swap the suspension and 18inch rear rim to give my '94 AT better offroad performance.
But after some work on the electrics and now the engine is properly set i love driving it. So she's going to stay!

Hi everyone.

This is a dummy question. I need new tires for my AT and I'm completely lost. I don't know if I need Radial or 'Bias Ply' or if any of them is OK. (my AT has the original wheels/rims)

Also, I was deciding between the Tourance and Anakee2 but when adding them into the cart in Bike Bandit I noticed that both tires (rear and front) of both Tourance and Anakee2 says they are tubeless. Can I get those ones or do I need different (tube) ones?

as long as the size fits, you are ok.... I have anakee 2 and I love them...

As you know (or don't know), I'm working on my RD03. My handle bars need replacement. I would like to keep the original gold color and stock hight.

Now, I'm hesitating between two options:

- stock steel handle bar (steel)
- renthal MX/enduro bar with risers (alu)

The price for both items will be about the same, so that's not the issue... Any comments?

HI Thomas,

I'm also rebuilding my RD03, I'm gonna repaint my stock bars, but if they needed replacement I would buy a FEHLING handlebar in germany, much cheaper than stock (40 euro), but they only come in black or chrome

We used this on my friends RD07... just had to cut the bars at the ends since they were to wide... other than that fit's like a glove :)

I'd like taller ones since 35mm sw motech bar raisers didn't do the trick... I still need more height... and I'm trying to figure out what to do with the pegz... how to lower them..
