Clutch / Neutral Switch
Hey guys /
Probably somebody asked already before. Since my latest trip i have problems with clutch / neutral switch. I always have to put in neutral gear to start my engine. If i pull the clutch and in gear it wont give electricity to starter. Since I drive mostly on terrain and offroad this can be pain in the ass. Where to look for mistake / repair ? Thanks |

When you pull the clutch lever in, the switch should close. To check this, simple disconnect the 2 small female blade connectors from the clutch switch and then shunt the female blade connectors using a piece of wire like a paper clip or similar. Last time I did this check it was on a friend's bike and we were at a restaurant so I used a table fork.  Then, put your bike in gear, pull in the clutch lever and try to start the engine. If it starts, then you've found the problem... let me know your findings...

Screw
Well after getting everything back together I found this little piece in the parts tray. Can anyone tell me what it is and where it would go? I have no idea if it is even off the bike. It has a slot in the end of the threaded section for a screw driver.
