Thanks! The choke is OK - when the lever is pull-off the chock needles are pull of the holes!
I think that i find a solution - the float heights are little bit higher - more than milimeter. I will try to ride with new float settings :)

On to something different, last week my boss told me that there's an option to move to Canada in 2014 for a 6 month fellowship in my profession. What do you think? Is it worth shipping in the AT or should I look for something different ? For what I have read it should be possible. Opinions please..

it depends where and when you are coming to CANADA. if it's anywhere near where i live and you are here from october to march , don't bother bringing the bike.

Just update,

Ktm forks rebuilt and 5.6nm springs fitted.

going do oil in fork tonight then bolt them all in.

have relocate the ignition to the dash, hope do that also tonight and then just matter of finding way to make steering stop up

Sustained one of the common AT problems this week, regulator failure.. Not a big deal except when a 5-6000 km trip is planned to start in 10 days...

If it all works out it'll be fixed within 2 days, fingers crossed!

Are you going Mosfet? What part of Canada does your boss have plans for you? A German friend had his AT shipped here to Alberta while he taught at the University of Lethbridge for a couple years and it worked out well with a trip he made to Alaska before he shipped the bike back to Germany.

Following is a pic of Stephan in my garage. Funny...he had never seen another green AT even while in Germany...until he saw mine.

Have a good trip...man i wud love to do about 5 k kms right about now

For now I'm staying with the original regulator, mainly because it's the fastest solution. I'll have the bike up and running tomorrow. This is what I am riding today instead of the AT (prefer to have my own bike back)

Next week I'm heading south, via France into the Pyrenees and Andorra, and in Spain continue to the west and through the Picos d'europa into portugal to end up somewhere near Porto. Depending on how much time there's left I'm heading back trough the middle of spain or sort of travel opposite to the first part of the trip. All I know is that it'll be hot as hell over there... Can't wait.

And the job in Canada would be somewhere near Toronto, but we're still in the exploring stage to see what the possibilities are.

Mine is the AT on the left with the MRA Touring screen which I like a lot despite a crack with wire and stickers keeping it together and rigid. I recently purchased a carbon/kevlar screen from ruggedroads...but found it does not give me the protection I want. It looks good though.

Well...the extent of my trips might be the local grocery store this w/e

. This summer is a writeoff for me. Maybe a trip to the Kootenays in BC in Sept but thats about it.

We're all due for another NAATS meeting. I still think a trip to Hyder Alaska would be a great one. Time to round up the Oregonian's, the Nor Cal gang, Jim in Colorado, NorthRider, Reidy008 and whoever else may be interested. Maybe persuade Stormforce8 to shove his AT into the cargo of a widebody plane and join us too
