Fantastic pics. I've used Conti Escapes too for 2 years and I love them. I'm now installing Mitas E07s mainly due to the excessive price of the Contis... let's see how they fare...

Tried fitting Barkbusters (standard mounting kit) to my AT and no go. Won't fit on my 7/8" bar. Should I try bending them to fit or is there another brand that might fit better?

They should fit with some persuasion. I like using Acerbis handguards because they come with different mounting configurations.

Thanks Africa Twin, Be interesting to see how you get on with the Mitas tyres,cause the Conti's are getting expensive these days.

Yes, I had a Dero, but I sold it, because it is a heavy pig with great engine. :)

I tried to make it to the Hungary AT meeting, but we we're too early and carried on to Romania to do the Trans Alpina.





The trip was good, carried on from there to Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia and then on to Slovenia, Italy and Austria before returning to Germany.
