My first Vespa!!!
Hi guys, my name is Myke and I'm from Long Beach, CA.
So I've been riding scooters for 5+ years now. I've had other scooters before (Honda Ruckus, Yamaha Zuma 125) but I've always wanted to get a Vespa. So I went down to Los Angeles Vespa in downtown L.A. and when I saw the 2012 GTS 300 Super in titanium gray, I fell in love. I knew I had to get one. This is what she looked like when I first got her: ![]() ![]() ![]() myke |

Then I started to slowly mod it...
I installed a cigarette lighter socket so I can charge my cel phone and also makes it easier to hook up a Battery Tender: ![]() ![]() Also installed a rear luggage rack: ![]() And picked up a cool bag: ![]() ![]() ![]() myke |

My latest mods...
I took off the stock side reflectors (I think it looks so much sleeker without them), and also installed some 4-piston Brembo brake calipers in the front: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() myke |

Wow, that thing is beautiful!
I just sold my motorcycle so right now my only bike is a Zuma 125. I plan to get something to replace the motorcycle in the spring. I see that you also have an FZR but if you didn't do you think you could be happy with just the Vespa 300? I ask this because maybe this is my ideal solution. Instead of a 125 and a motorcycle maybe I would be happy with just the Vespa 300. |

Nice scooter! I put an Akra on my Super, too. Sounds great.

Beautiful ride! I took one across the US in 2009 and it ran beautifully. I like what you did with yours.

That sounds like an interesting story, any chance you did a ride report with pix?

Man what a beutiful scoot you got yourself! I don't know why but that color just looks great!
cbolling your gonna miss that Shadow! Well if your not really the Cruiser type then at least having those extra ccs! Its kinda weird having JUST the Zuma'll make you miss having decent power but having just the Cruiser will probably make you miss that awesome automatic and good handling. I may be unfortuantly getting rid of all my bikes and scoots for a Harley, but damn it if I do I KNOW I'm gonna miss that Elite 150! Thats why I'm struggling so much with the decsion!
