Chip, used the tracks to get from VA to Michaux Sate Forest in PA this weekend. What an awesome set of roads you've put into this thing. I have a new appreciation for the time and effort put into this. Thanks again.
We left Harrisonburg Friday morning and camped at Hawk campground outside Wardensville. We were the only campers there and had everything we needed, well pump, vault toilet. ![]() ![]() We came to Moore's ford early on Saturday. This could be tricky during a rainy season. ![]() Lots of history along the way. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It was just a weekend run to the Spring Frolic at Laurel Fork, not really worth a RR.
The trail includes Pine Ridge Mountain Road in Michaux SF. That road is closed during the winter season. I can't remember when ti reopens, but I think it is sometime late this month. We used Ridge Road for the north part of Michaux, then picked up the TeT south of US30. Stayed with the route the rest of the way to WV32 just after dropping down from Dolly Sods. By that time, DRiderJohn and I had put in over 300 miles on the day and were ready to get to camp by the quickest route. I think the most memorable road was Howard Lick River Road in WV. It is a paved section and the best way to describe it is a roller coaster ride. Not to be missed. Like H14 said, be careful at the Moore's Ford crossing. I am guessing it was 12-18 inches when we were there. Other than that, we did not come across anything to worry about. Just great riding and great scenery. 200-300 miles/day is doable without pushing hard. My average speed by GPS was 27mph for the day, including the first 50 miles getting form home to the meet-up location.

Hello Lads i need some advice..
Im dying to get out of nyc and want to do a 3-4 day ride from nyc to vermont. Mainly back/dirt roads. What would you recommend? Should i do NJ instead? I have a 2007 klr 650. Can anyone send me a map and approximately the length of the trip? Many many thanks, David |

I can tell you there is plenty of dirty riding to be found in the NE corner of Pennsylvania.
The north end of TeT gets you up into Mass. You could do some searching around and try to add more to the trail.

Have a look at the second post in this thread. We are releasing beta in this release, but it does go to the Canadian border. The track logs are legit and proven, there is just some housekeeping on documentation that needs to be finished for an official release.
