Haven't been here for a while. Is there an actual bike yet?

At the horsepower shootout during Bike Week several winners have had upwards of 500 hp in bikes with licence plates.
You are exactly correct Baker.....I'm running a turbo. I guess I should have been clearer, I figured most of the folks on a bike site would understand what "boosted" meant And you are also correct that I could easily get WAY more if I wanted, but I wanted a reliable daily rider
The bike cost me 7200, and the turbo kit cost 2700...I did the install myself so no labor charges. Add in a few hundred for extra's, and thats still well below 11 grand total, closer to 10 actually

I'll edit and simplify my previous post so more folks can understand it

Not sure if it's been posted but this site has the ergo data for the Motus.
Real world seating position may change the numbers a bit, but it would need a lot of rise to the ZX bars to match the foward lean angle of the Motus.
I like that site.
Alsmost twice as much forward lean angle on the ZX14 for my hight..
Edit: Even going up and back two inches doesn't get it close.

I think the real world has less forward lean. If I compare it to other bikes I've ridden it seems to be more accurate if you put 'front' for seating position for the ZX. But that's for my body type, so might not apply to others.

Ok, you wanna get technical-

1) Where'd you get the turbo kit?
2) How much was the dyno to remap? My understanding is that to get full function from a turbo upgrade it is required to remap.
3) With said dyno you would have gotten the sheet. I still don't see any dyno sheet with aforementioned 270. Or is that just the "claimed" hp from the turbo kit you bought?
Oh, and do you have hard bags for it? If so, how much was that total with the mounting brackets?

When I see all of the above I will be happy to apologize for my comments as pertaining to your specific bike. However, that does not change that we're still talking apples and oranges. You're welcome to your Timex.

There are two protos that exist. Actual production bikes? None that anyone has heard of. Latest update said they were running the fed traps.

From the web site: taking reservations now for Spring/Summer 2013 delivery

The pic on the home page of the site looks to be parts for the new bikes! Looks like we should be seeing something in the next few months.

Hmmm, Looks like Sierra Thumper doesn't know to look at a Join Date.

Thank you, sweetie, but apparently you can't be rational with someone who doesn't have the documentation to back up his claims.

My guess is he didn't read the instructions or was too cheap to get the bike dyno'd and the system remapped to get full function of the turbo. So, it's just the numbers off the box.

I think that there will be a lot of competition for the dollars that Motus is targeting. I'm about to pull the trigger on a new BMW K1600GT, which appears to appeal to a similar demographic. If Motus had an actual bike for sale, you can get that it would be on my short list.

Yes! I want to see his birth certificate too! It's the least he can do, you asked so nicely, after all...

There are blown and boosted bikes all over the place that get to those numbers and MUCH more - especially 14s and Busas - what the hell are you so suspicious of? Never seen one at one of your IronButt rallies?

I don't ride Ironbutts.. I just ride and I am well aware of the guys that talk shit and ride Busa's and 14's, they like to ride up interstates and blast by people wearing chrome peanut helmets.. The bikes I like because I like Horsepower.. Not suspicious of anything as STATED this is about the Motus, that being said your buddy called my Wife out and I politely reminded him that when you do so you need PROOF!

Great video by the way just one question when does the sport touring start??
