Uh yes, it sounds amazing. Any mention of when pricing will be finalized and published?

I don't mind the looks of it, form follows function and at a considerable distance in my view. But then again I own 2 of what are arguably the homeliest motorcycles ever built.
I hope it's a good bike.
I hope they make it.
We need more stuff made in USA

Personally, I haven't seen any solid info on the pricing....which does worry me a little.
To me, it means that they might be having trouble calculating decent production costs and/or they are holding off so as to generate a 'buzz' over the bike before dropping the bombshell as to how expensive it is going to be.

If the price is over 20k, then it will be out of my price range.....but I'm one of those people who tends to buy bikes that fall into the motorcycle pricing "sweet spot" (around 9-12k for new bikes). Anything over 13k (after a trade-in), and I have more and more trouble justifying the purchase....especially when a bike gets into a new-car-pricing territory......but I'm just practical/frugal like that.

I hope they improve the sound with some good cans. Sound does count.

Well, the "stock" exhaust is made by Two Brothers, so 3rd parties are already onboard there. Did you hear the video of it on the dyno? I think it sounds awesome and probably doesn't need anything else. Video recordings don't always do exhaust sounds justice.

The naked one in the video looks like the touring unit without any bodywork (same headlight, same everything).

I agree 100%. Anything approaching new car pricing is real hard to justify living in this climate. If I lived somewhere I could ride year round then maybe it would be easier. This bike does sound cool as can be though.

Definitely!! If I moved back to FL (where I'm from) or somewhere out west, I would find it easier to spend the cash on a more expensive bike because I know that I would get more out of it riding it all year round.

Regarding the sound....

Any of you think it will sound like that after the EPA certification are dreaming.

V-4 cadence will give it some character but it will be quiet. Just like all other OEM bikes.

That is so amazingly simple to fix I am not sure why you would even mention it.

IMS Today?

Anyone see this at the IMS today in Daytona? I couldn't make it because I apparently suck. I'm only 2 hrs away, for cryin' out loud.

Here's a shot pants down like I was thinking about earlier. It seems the standard Givi mount has been modified. Not bad.
